MULTINORM JOINS “100 SMART FACTORIES” PROJECT
Multinorm, a company from Slavonia, has joined the "100 Smart Factories" project and embarked on a business transformation.
The Slavonian company Multinorm successfully operates in the automotive industry and is engaged in the design, production, and manufacturing of elements and assemblies and robotic manipulators that form an integral part of the production line for the assembly of automotive bodies. For many years, Multinorm has been a successful direct supplier to the BMW and Volkswagen Group, demonstrating its orientation to the European market.
The project started with the industry 4.0 Readiness Audit, followed by a Lean transformation phase that will increase the efficiency of the production system.
The following is a statement by Josip Majić, Quality Manager and Production Assembly Supervisor at Multinorm:
"Since its establishment, Multinorm's long-term goal has been to continuously invest in business development and production modernization. This is a way to strengthen the competitiveness of the metal processing industry in the Republic of Croatia and industrial growth and to increase exports to the EU market. The project "100 Smart Factories" of the company Culmena d.o.o. will enable the development of new knowledge and skills, which will achieve process optimization and higher productivity. At the very beginning of the cooperation, we are satisfied with the choice of Lean methodology, and we are willing to create general preconditions to achieve the general goal of the Project. We believe that the use of Lean methods and tools will bring many opportunities for the development of our business, so we look forward to cooperation and the challenges ahead! "
