LEAN CERTIFICATION PROGRAM

Nowadays there are many methods for improving business operations, but Lean management stands out as the most comprehensive and powerful concept to achieve business excellence.

WHAT IS LEAN?

Lean is the most comprehensive and powerful concept for managing business processes and achieving business excellence that comes from Toyota. It continuously improves business, processes and employees. Its greatest advantage is that it equally advances companies that are in crisis, those that are doing well and wish to achieve growth and those that are doing great, but are aiming to improve quality in all areas.

WHAT IS ACHIEVED WITH CERTIFICATION?

The Lean certification program lasts 6 months through 6 workshops. During these 6 months, participants have an opportunity to master Lean’s most important tools and implement a project with practical application in their companies. In order for the project to be carried out faster, effectively and with the best possible results, we suggest participation from at least three employees from the same company. The aim of the program is to train participants for independent use of Lean tools, analysis, process improvement and Lean project management. Lean certificate is given to participants who attend all 6 workshops.

FIVE BASIC PRINCIPLES OF LEAN MANAGEMENT

Lean management also defines 8 types of waste: overproduction, scrap, unnecessary movements, excess inventory, unnecessary processing, waiting, transport, and unutilized human creativity. In order to eliminate losses, Lean Management uses its tools such as: Kaizen, 5S, Kaikaku, Value stream mapping, JIT, TPM and many others. Due to the comprehensiveness of its principles and tools, Lean Management is ideal for use in manufacturing and service companies as well as in state, local government and self-government bodies.
